Dashi is broth or soup that is the base of many Japanese dishes, including miso. This powder form is a convenient way of making dashi. For a bowl of soup, simply mix 4-5g dashi powder into some boiling water and stir until dissolve.
We have 2 types of dashi powders available -bonito dashi and kombu dashi. Kombu dashi is made from kelp, has delicate and mellow flavours that compliments any Japanese dish. Suitable for vegans and vegetarians.

Great for making your own ramen broth, very versatile and adds good flavour. Make sure you take it out of the paper bag quickly though as mine all clumped together!
