Dashi is broth or soup that is the base of many Japanese dishes, including miso. This powder form is a convenient way of making dashi. For a bowl of soup, simply mix 4-5g dashi powder into some boiling water and stir until dissolve.
We have 2 types of dashi available - bonito dashi and kombu dashi (kelp). Bonito dashi is made from tuna and mackerel, giving it a delicious rich umami flavour.
