Kaya is a spreadable coconut caramel traditional to Southeast Asia. Dulu Deli’s signature spread is traditionally made with pasteurised free range duck eggs - stirred for at least 3-4 hours to develop deep caramelisation then finished with natural pandan concentrate to give a green colour, aromatic and light floral flavour.
Pairs perfectly on toast with a slab of salted butter. Also goes well with breakfast oats, pancakes, waffles, crumpets, glutinous rice, Chinese donuts, whipped into buttercream icing, enriching your cake batter… the possibilities are infinite!

Best Kaya outside Singapore!
My family fell in love with Kaya on a visit to Singapore a number of years ago. This is undoubtedly the best Kaya we’ve had and it’s great to know it’s made in our hometown, Melbourne.
