What can you add to your ramen bowl?
Veggies & Mushrooms
Asian greens such as bokchoy and choysum, thin slices of carrots and cabbages, broccoli, spinach, bean sprouts and corn kernels, enoki mushrooms and edamame, and spring onions.
Protein
Thin slices of pork, beef or chicken. If you like seafood, try adding prawns. Any kind of tofu works too. Add a jammy marinated egg and slow cooked pork belly if you're feeling gourmet.
Others
Try adding dumplings, seaweed sheets, fish cakes or fish balls. If you like to add more spice, fresh chilli or some homemade chilli oil would work wonders.
