Wakame is a delicate, subtly sweet seaweed with a silky, satin-like texture. Commonly used in Japanese cuisines such as salads and miso soups. Wakame is rich in minerals like calcium, manganese, folate, magnesium, and iodine, and a good source of omega-3 fatty acids. To use wakame, blanch for a few seconds in boiling water, before soaking in ice water, to bring out its electric-green colour.

Great tasting Wakame

This wakame has a great flavor and re hydrates easily when put in your soup. I really like how NAG package their products and you can order what you need.
