Tempura is one of Japanese quintessential dishes. Usually served with some dipping sauce and condiments, tempura is seafood, vegetables or meat coated in thin, crispy batter and fried until golden. Easily cook tempura using our Tempura Batter Mix.
To make the batter, simply add batter mix with water to 1:1.5 ratio. It's OK if batter is a little lumpy.
To fry tempura, sprinkle and coat sliced vegetables or shrimps with dry batter. Dip shrimp or veggies in batter. Allow access to drain slightly, then gently dip into hot oil. Fry for 3 to 4 minutes or until golden. Place tempura on wire rack to drain access oil before serving.
