Soy Mince
Soy Mince
This Soy Mince is an excellent substitute for meat. It has a mild flavour and absorbs herbs, spices and broth it is cooked with. Commonly used to be made into veggie burger patties and sausages, you can also use it to made into stir-fries such as Pad Krapow, add it as dumpling fillings or turn them into meatballs. To use this, you would need to rehydrate the Soy Mince by soaking into boiling water for 10 minutes or until soft. Drain water and it is ready to be used.

Pros: look and texture like minced, taste amazing with soy sauce, versatile, perfect with lettuce wrap
Cons: gas appeared in my weak guts
I love this stuff and use it in so many dishes from vegan lasagne and bolognese to stir frys and dumplings. It's the perfect protein rich vegan mince meat substitute, and because it's dry it lasts ages and has become a pantry staple.
Great texture, no flavour, perfect neutral protein to absorb other flavours
Great product (and recipe to go with it)
