Glutinous Rice, or also known as sticky rice or sweet rice, is grown in Southeast Asia, India and Bhutan. Like its name, it has a sticky texture after its cooked. One of its most famous dish is Thai's Mango Sticky Rice dessert. To cook the rice, soak rice in water for 6 to 24 hours. Ensure that you have sufficient water as rice will expand when soaked. Steam soaked rice until cooked.
