I always have some dried shiitake in the cupboard. They're great quality and it's nice to get them without the plastic containers! The 200g fit perfectly in my jar (image shows some already used;))
Dried shitake are a Chinese cooking staple, essential for flavouring soups & stir fries & stews. Great to be able to source them in bulk & plastic packaging free from the Naked Asian Grocer. Just soak in hot water or stock & you're ready to roll. One of my fav ways of using them is in a warm cosy tofu vegetable claypot. YUMMO!
I love these, always very flavoursome, very convenient to have in the cupboard
Good quality shitakes, delivered in a paper bag in a cardboard box
Its hard to get whole dried mushrooms in supermarkets at the moment. 200gms is a good quantity at a good price.
So impressed with these the shiitakes! I'd previously been buying them from supermarkets which are heaps small. These shiitakes are so big and taste juicy and delicious
