Black Sticky Rice, or Black Glutinous Rice, is naturally coloured dark purple that is almost black and is native to Asia. Usually made into desserts in Southeast Asia such as Thai pudding or as a creamy sweet porridge with coconut milk (called Pulut Hitam in Malaysian or Bubur Ketan Hitam in Indonesia).
